Tip #1: Simplify Your Self-Care

Tip #3: Create a Command Station

Every home needs a system for managing all the incoming and outgoing paper…or else it will quickly pile up on the countertop and stress you out. When creating your system, think in three general categories: To-Do, File, and Recycle. As a reminder for tasks at hand, To-Do papers need to remain organized but visually accessible in open trays or letter sorters. Files can either be stored in hanging file or document boxes, labeled by category, color, or both.

BONUS TIP: Designate a paper tray in clear view where your kids can place all the papers you need to sign or look over.

Tip #4: Prepare For Last-Minute Emergencies

It never fails – the moment you are about to walk out the door is also when your kid decides to confess they forgot to brush their teeth...or maybe it was a truly chaotic morning and you realize you forgot to brush yours.
